What is textured glass?
A texture or pattern is applied to one side of a glass pane to create various effects that are usually designed to add privacy along with an interesting textural element to your interior design.
How is textured glass used?
Textured glass offers a visually appealing alternative to traditional clear glass and can be used for a variety of purposes including windows and splashbacks in the bathroom, laundry and kitchen areas. Using textured glass in these areas of the home still allows for easy cleaning, as the texture can be applied to one side of the glass pane, leaving the outward facing side the same as a regular pane of glass.
How is textured glass made?
During the manufacturing process, various patterns or textures are pressed into molten glass. The molten glass is then allowed to cool, which embeds the pattern or texture into the finished glass sheet.
